Animal talents are quite popular though there are numerous species on this planet. And there are many species with some hidden talents. While some are trained, others have these talents inborn. For example, a talking animal which can produce sounds or gestures like the human language. Many species of animals have developed different forms of communication which are like verbal language. But these are not named as language as they lack few characteristics. People teach animals some gestures when they want their animal friend to communicate with them. And these gestures are like the sign language. However, these animals cannot speak fluently like humans.
Jacob: Setting The Animal Talents Record
Jack Russell Jacob and his owner Rachael Grylls acquired a hattrick of GWR titles on 17 February. The most rollovers given to a dog in one minute (51). Alternate paws given by a dog in one minute (80). The fastest time taken to walk the 30 meters, with weaving dog in between the legs (18.87 sec). There are many times when Rachael, who is an animal trainer by profession has set records with the pets. She had earlier received the one minute title, which includes the skips on a single rope by human and dog. Rachael achieved this title with another pet called Jessica. They received this title in late 2016 with 59 skips in 60 seconds.
Hero The Super Collie: Setting The Animal Talent Record
As the name suggests, Hero was also a hero by nature. Hero completed 49 different tricks on 18th February. The title of the most tricks that are performed by a dog in a minute. The reports also include some classics like sitting, rolling over, and some more engrossed operations like doing the “pawstand”. Riding a skateboard, and taking a bow also got included.
Charlie And His Incredible Feasts:
Charlie the sea otter celebrated his 21st birthday on 2nd March. From the Pacific aquarium in California. He got the title of the oldest sea otter in confinement. He was found in 1997 as a cub and has been looked after since then.
The Yellow Goo Ants:
The Latin name for these ants are Colobpsis Explodes and are known for their heroic acts. These ants can develop an unusual form of defense when their nests are attacked. These ants can break their own bodies, spraying the enemies a sticky substance. This stops the intruder to come into their tracks giving them the name of the “exploding ants”.
